Barnstaple Pannier Market, 10am to 4pm
A mouth-watering array of street food and produce will be on the menu when over 90 talented artists and makers from across the South West gather for one day only in Barnstaple Pannier Market for the annual Artisan Market presented by Devon Pop Ups on Sunday 4th November.
First course is courtesy of Freshly Sauced who will be serving a classic French dish of potatoes, mushrooms, onion and garlic in a soft cheese, cream and white wine sauce (vegan and gluten free), along with slow cooked beef steak chilli served with rice and pulled pork and stuffing in brioche buns accompanied with a homemade BBQ sauce.
The Homegrown Catering Company will be tempting us with a range of Middle eastern and Mediterranean preserves condiments and deli food, which will include gluten-free vegan and vegetarian, sweet and savoury options.
Also, on the menu: tasty wood fired, stone baked pizza from Pig and Olive.
To follow, how about trying something from The Cakesmith serving up the most delicious homemade cakes and will be serving lashings of the sweet stuff as well as on the savoury side - homemade soup with Artisan bread and a selection of homemade pies and tarts
Coffee Breeze will also be at the Artisan Market with a range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate to keep visitors fortified as they browse the extensive range of stalls.
For those who might need something a bit stronger, there will be mulled wine and mulled cider from the Re:Love and Re:Store team as a fundraiser for local charity North Devon Against Domestic Abuse.
There will be a £1.50 entrance fee (free entry for children under 16). The event starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
